Lessons from a DOG

July 19, 2009

LIFEism talks about simple yet profound truths to make you a smarter & wiser person.

Today, how about we learn something from mans best friend?

They have a language of their own.
It’s called ‘bark’. And I’m darn sure it makes a mark.

May I have your attention? LESSONS FROM A DOG:

– When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body

– Run, romp and play daily

– When loved ones come home, always run to greet them (…don’t lick though)

– Eat with enthusiasm (eat human food, not pedigree)

– Take naps and stretch before rising

– Let others know when they’ve invaded your space

– Avoid biting when a simple growl will do (bite only if you have doggy or bitchy instincts)

– When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently

– Delight in the simple joys of a long walk

And

– Be loyal

Like we say, there’s great learning even in the simplest of things. You jusmart, ehst got to take notice.
LIFEism notices. We promised you the twist, didn’t we?
😉
